Reservation takes effect with the submission of an online registration. The surf camp participants then receive a confirmation of reservation and tips on how to prepare for the trip. The company reserves the right to confirm a reservation up to 24 hours after receiving the online registration. Once a booking is made it can be changed by the customer within 24 hours, afterwards the booking will be proceeded and the full amount needs to be paid. Payment is to be made in two steps: 1. Down payment by bank transfer as stated in the reservation confirmation. Arising bank transfer fees or currency exchange fees need to be paid by the participant. 2. The remainder will be paid in cash (all currencies) or traveller cheques (American Express only) on location in Bali within the first three days after arrival. The company reserve the right to cancel a reservation after a written reminder by e-mail, if the down payment is not paid in time.
Along our own Green Room Hotel surf camps in Seminyak and Canggu, the company works with local partners in Bali that meet our professional quality standards. However we might not be the owner of each individual surf camp that can be booked over the website. Guests that want to swap between our camps can do that free of charge if the change request has been sent by email at least 3 weeks before arrival. 3 days until 3 weeks before arrival a change of camps can be organized with a cancellation fee of 25% from the original travel price. A request for changing camps within less than 3 days before arrival can only be refunded in case the room can be sold on short notice for the whole period of time. All options are subject to availability. The price will be calculated on that day when the changes have been made. Differences in price needs to be paid by the customer. While the Indonesian public holiday Nyepi (one day in February or March) no one is allowed to leave the camp area and no surf sessions will be held that day. Each individual surf camp organizes a special schedule for that day. Transfers from/to the airport can only be guaranteed once the flight details (flight number, flight arrival time, airline) are sent to our reservations team at least 48 hours before arrival. Unless the customer books a private room for single use (extra single use surcharge) the room needs to be shared with other travellers. These can be either male or females. There are no “female/male only”rooms. Add ons that were booked before arrival can only be cancelled free of charge once the company didn’t have any costs for booking them already. Custom shaped boards cannot be cancelled after the booking. All surf packages include surf guiding to several spots around Bali. Surf guiding takes place in the morning and in the afternoon. Every customer has the option to join a session subject to availability twice a day. The limit per session is 6 participants. Surf guiding includes the transfer to the spot, the introduction by one of our surf guides and guiding while being in the water. Theory lessons, video analysis and camp photos will be offered extra and are included in the price as well. The company does not offer lessons for absolute beginners. However we can help to organise the lessons with our partner surf school in Bali. These lessons need to be paid extra and are not included. Any surf equipment such as surfboards, wax, leashes and sunscreen are not included in the package but can be purchased or rented upon arrival. Due to certain public holidays, team events or strong weather conditions, the surf guiding might not be possible. The surf camp will organise an alternative subject to possibilities and according to weather and Indonesian law.
The participant explicitly declares that there are no medical reservations as far as his/her active surfing is concerned. Participants must be at least 18 years old.
The company’s liability for damages that are not personal injuries are limited to the triple journey price. Liability for the loss of or damage to participants’ property (like for example surf boards) on the part of the organiser shall be excluded. We recommend a private baggage/surf board insurance and health insurance for the respective period. The organiser’s equipment and vehicles should be treated in due form. The participant shall be liable for damages in the case of negligent or wilful damage or loss. In the case of damage to the vehicles by a third party in the Indonesian traffic, costs will be carried jointly by everyone in the car involved.
