The Kima Surf Boat charter is more than just a boat; it's your luxurious home at sea during your Mentawai adventure. After a day of surfing and exploration, relax in our luxury air-conditioned indoor or outdoor spaces, equipped with high-end amenities like a Bose sound system, PlayStations and TVs.

Looking for more activities besides surfing? During your trip, you have the option to use fishing, snorkelling, scuba and speargun equipment. Explore the ocean surroundings with a SUP or kayak or race over the ocean with the jetski! Beyond the waves and other activities, you’ll also have plenty of time to explore the local Indonesian culture, while visiting local villages.

The Kima Boat offers a variety of luxurious double and twin cabins on the upper or lower deck. All are equipped with comfy beds, reading lights, power outlets, breathtaking ocean views and a spa-inspired en-suite bathroom. With a 24/7 personalised butler service and daily fresh meals prepared by our onboard chef, you have really nothing to care about. That’s exactly the comfort and luxury our guests deserve while on holiday!

What is included?

What is not included?

  • Mentawai Surfer Tax (AUD$ 100/pax)

  • Photography

  • Flights to and from Padang.

  • Hotel in Padang if required.

  • Visa Fees and Departure Tax.

  • Any additional cost resulting from late arrival or the need for early departure.

  • Spirits and any other alcoholic beverages exceeding the beers a day.

All of our meals & snacks are included and freshly prepared by our onboard chef, using only high-quality ingredients. Each meal is a unique cuisine experience and also suitable for vegetarians and vegans. From a delicious breakfast with fresh juices, fruits, eggs, bagels and pancakes to a satisfying lunch and delicious dinner. Our menu is designed to fuel your body and keep you energised for the waves and inspired by the rich and flavorful taste of local Indonesian cuisine.

We offer unlimited, refreshing filtered water using eco-friendly filtered water dispensers. Stay hydrated during your surf trip and help us reduce plastic waste!

This surf camp is perfect! I only booked for 10 days and in the end I stayed more than 6 weeks. I guess that says it all: I felt really comfortable and it was like a second family! The staff was super friendly and always helpful! I stayed in the private lodge, which accommodates 3 dorms with a private pool and kitchen and I honestly can say, that it was one of the best dorms I ever stayed in. The best part of course was the surfing! I started as a beginner and was able to join more challenging sessions in the end of my stay! The guides help you a lot and it's always fun with them in the water! I almost forgot to mention the stunning breakfast, which is included in the price! I arrived as a solo traveller in Bali, but with KIMA I made so many new friends from all over the world! I had a blast with you guys and trust me, you'll see me again!

It was my third time to visit this camp in one year. That should tell you all about this place. Perfect in any way. Staff, surf instructors, food, people, maintenance... whole atmosphere. Last visit was in "off season" and again camp was full and we surf every day... Those guys Kima surf instructors they will drive you through entire island if needed to find waves. It's awesome that the sessions are quite small and adjusted to your surf level! Every surf lesson is well organised and I like the app they using too! Now they added yoga, massage... so when you think it cannot get any better they just add something new. Really amazing place with great vibe and people. Coming back soon!

Great stay at Kima! Really enjoyed my holidays here! Very qualified and helpful Team thanks to which being part of the daily life at the camp doing surf and other activities. Good vibes, cool mood, chance to relax ,stay together and have fun! All the guys here are well prepared surfer teachers, all the staff at the camp very polite and always available to make our stay a paradise. The quality price rate is amazing: you'll never find a beautiful camp like this one, with all those services inclusive and a very nice place all around. I warmly suggest to any new guest to choose you! Me and my holidays' mates are really glad to have chosen Kima!
