Bali has 2 seasons: the dry season (April to October) and the wet season ( November - March), and when the clouds roll in and the tropical rains begin most travellers believe it is time to head home, but this is not the case. Bali’s rainy season is one of the Island’s best kept secrets. The island has greener landscapes, less crowded waves and a slower more authentic island lifestyle charm. So let’s explore all the magic the island has during the rainy season.
Bali has swell all year round, just because the dry season stops does not mean the waves stop rolling in. At Kima Surf Camps in Bali we still offer surf sessions in between the tropical rainfall. During the wet season the East Coast starts to shine and our Canggu and Seminyak Camps are within driving distance to surf spots on the East Coast like Nusa Dua and Keramas.
Our team of experienced surf guides will take you to Bali's best surf spots according to the conditions and they will match you with the right waves with 2 daily guided sessions.

At Kima Surf Camps in Bali we make it easy to experience Bali outside of surfing. Regardless of the weather, you may discover the island's culture, greenery and community with our optional day trips and activities.
Here are some favourites for the wet season:
Try a Balinese Cooking class: Learn how to make local food with fresh tropical ingredients.
Visit Bali’s gorgeous temples: See well-known religious sites like Tanah Lot or Tirta Empul and more!
